Combat Tagging
NapMC uses a strict combat tag to keep PvP fair and stop combat‑logging.
How it starts
- Any direct PvP hit between two players tags both players.
- Hitting the same opponent again refreshes the timer.
Duration and UI
- Tag duration: 90 seconds per engagement.
- A boss‑bar shows your remaining time. It updates live and disappears when fully expired.
What is blocked while tagged
- Riptide: cannot be used during the tag window.
- Elytra: attempting to glide forcibly unequips and drops your elytra to your inventory (or on the ground) and cancels glide.
Logging out while tagged
- Quitting during a tag kills you instantly.
- The last opponent on record receives the heart gain (subject to their kill cooldown). If they are offline, they still gain a heart when eligible.
Notes
- Tagging respects safe‑zone/cancelled damage: cancelled PvP does not tag.
- Boss‑bar/title is unique per player; if you get re‑tagged, the timer resets to full.
